Dishevelled: Rupert Grint looked scruffy as he sat and watched the action at Wimbledon
As Ron Weasley in Harry Potter, Rupert Grint is the clean-cut, slightly naive teenager who haplessly tried to make his way in the magical world.
But yesterday Grint couldn't have looked further apart from his on-screen character as he arrived at Wimbledon to watch Andy Murray take to the court.
The 22-year-old actor looked incredibly dishevelled, with his red hair messy and huge bags under his red-rimmed eyes.
Grint also tried to hide from photographers at one point by donning a pair f sunglasses, which appeared to be ladies' eyewear.
The Harry Potter star also hadn't shaved for the occasion, sporting a sprouting of ginger hair on his chin and upper lips along with a smattering of spots.
Grint arrived for his day at Wimbledon wearing a maroon and black blazer with a trendy thin tie and a pair of black trousers.
Screen star: Rupert's scruffy appearance was worlds away from Ron Weasley in Harry Potter
After watching Andy Roddick of the United States take on Feliciano Lopez of Spain, Grint stayed for the match between Andy Murray and Ivan Ljubicic.
And despite the game not finishing until well into the evening, Grint remained for the entire time - seeming to enjoy himself as he watched the tense match.
Grint can soon be seen reprising his role as Ron Weasley for the final time in the last Harry Potter movie; Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II.
Having fun: Rupert appeared to be enjoying himself at points, but at other times hid behind a pair of ladies' sunglasses
Famous friends: Rupert sitting with All England Lawn Tennis Club Chairman Philip Brook
In a recent interview, Grint, who has grown up on the Harry Potter set, admitted saying goodbye is going to be a huge wrench.
He explained: 'Harry Potter was such a massive part of my life. It really has been my life. I can’t really remember a life before it. For that to just all come down to just like, one day, and like one thing, just seems really strange.
'The last day as emotional. There was a real sadness about it and quite an empty feeling. So, I remember packing up my room, boxing everything up and I had like, toys from when I was 10. It was weird.'
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II hits UK cinemas on July 15th.
Giggles all round: Rupert laughs as he tried on a Wimbledon headband
Enjoying themselves: Rupert was with fellow Harry Potter star Oliver Phelps, who plays his on-screen brother George in the films
I never really got bullied for my red hair,’ the 22-year-old said. ‘I knew some kids who really struggled with it. It’s ridiculous. There’s such a big stigma about ginger hair.
'People think you’re geeky or this or that. I’ve never thought about dyeing it. It’s just part of who I am.’
