Let Me Entertain You! Robbie copies Sinitta as he helps Gary choose his final contestants in LA

    By KIRSTY MCCORMACK

Entertainer: Robbie Williams shocked Gary Barlow and his hopefuls by wearing a palm leave costume similar to Sinitta's back in 2009

He's no stranger to showing off his body, but Robbie Williams took things to the next level when he joined X Factor judge, Gary Barlow in LA this month.

Wearing nothing but a nude pair of boxers, pulled up socks and a total of six palm leaves, the Take That star shocked Gary and his male contestants as he made his entrance and struck a pose.

Making a reference to eighties star Sinitta's appearance on the show in 2009, when she helped ex-partner, Simon Cowell whittle down his hopefuls, Robbie looked baffled as Gary held his face in his hands.

Ashamed: Gary Barlow covered his face whilst laughing at Robbie's interesting outfit

'I saw Sinitta in it and thought, that’s what I want to do! What do you reckon lads?!' he said.

The eight pop star wannabes looked delighted to meet the Take That star - even if he was showing a bit too much flesh - with Marcus Collins replying: 'For a minute I genuinely thought it was Sinnita!'

The judge earlier told his group of guys that he was excited to be there with them.
'I'm so excited about the songs and the performances, but I think what you're all excited about right now is who’s here with me!

Stunned: The hopefuls not only got to meet Robbie but they got to see him wearing palm leaves too

'Belter': Marcus gave it his all as he sang We Got Family by Paloma Faith

'This person is a very close friend of mine, this person lives in LA and this person's opinion I trust about 85%, they need no introduction, so I am not going to give them one, please welcome my guest everybody!'

Marcus was the first to sing choosing Paloma Faith's We Got Family which left Gary saying to Robbie in private: 'He’s such a belter; you know he really goes for it.

'It’s whether he will be able to do it week after week night after night. It’s whether he belts it out and doesn’t speak for two days,' he added.

Battling it out: Young hopefuls Luke and Craig sang to Gary and Robbie in Los Angeles hoping to make it to the live shows

Feeling the heat: John and Max were just two of the guys who sang to their mentor hoping to impress him

Firm friends: Kelly Rowland invited singer, Jennifer Hudson, to Miami to help her choose her finalists

Miami girls: Melanie and Misha wore contrasting colours to perform at Kelly's house in the U.S.

Nervous: Holly (left) appeared to be really concentrating as she performed her audition in front of the two superstar singers whereas Amelia Lili seemed more confident

Singing her heart out: Sophie sang as good as she could for her mentor and her friend

Talking things over: It was tough for Kelly and Jennifer to choose just three hopefuls to take to the live shows

Welcome: Tulisa greets her groups in Mykanos, Greece and introduces them to her guest Jessie J

Hitting the right note: Boyband Chasing Keys sang to Tulisa and Jessie J in the hope that they might go through to the live finals

Competition: second boyband The Risk had a fantastic view of Mykanos as they performed

Only young: the four girls known as Rhythmix were dressed rather funky as they performed in Greece

Very Grecian: Estrelle looked and sounded great for their performance abroad

Then there were three: The Lovettes gave it their all when performing to Tulisa and singer Jessie J

Just a duo: Boy v Girl were the smallest group in the auditions at Tulisa's home

Singing for Essex: Two Shoes wore matching gold maxi dresses to perform in front of the singers

Nearer to home N-DUBZ singer Tulisa Contostavlos had invited her groups to Mykonos in Greece and brought singer Jessie J along to help her make her big decisions.

'All I care about is having the winner in my category and I believe it’s there,' Tulisa said confidently.

First up to sing were boyband The Keys.

Jessie J took the opportunity to ask the guys if they had topped up their suncream but they answered: 'Yeah, it’s a bit late for that, we already look like beetroot!'

Tough decision: Tulisa and Jessie J converse in between performances whilst making important notes

Ruthless: guest Jessie J helped Tulisa choose her three groups for the live finals

Mature singers: Samantha and Kitty were up against one another to perform in front of Louis Walsh in Torrellea, Spain

Taking the plunge: Kitty decided to jump into a nearby pool during her performance

Which man will win? Jonjo (left) and Joseph proved to Louis why he had brought them to Spain by giving amazing performances

Doing Harrow proud: Middle -aged Johnny sang for a place in the live X Factor finals

After her showstopping performance, will fragile Kitty Brucknell be strong enough to survive X Factor?

    By HOLLY THOMAS

Fears: X Factor hopeful Kitty Brucknell worries that the pressure of performing will harm her immune system, weakened by Guillain-Barre syndrome

Her raunchy performance of Feeling Good left the judges stunned last night.

But 26-year-old Kitty Brucknell has reportedly voiced fears that the stress of competing in the X Factor could aggravate a debilitating illness.

The singer is said to have nearly died last year due to a severe case of Guillain-Barre syndrome, which attacks the nervous system.

Feeling Good: Kitty gave a ranchy performance of the 1965 classic, wearing a £2000 leotard

Kitty, who qualified last night for the judges' house stage of the competition, is determined to continue fighting for her dream of worldwide fame.

The blonde gave her saucy rendition of Feeling Good in a custom-made leotard with flashing lights.

Before taking to the stage, Kitty admitted: 'I couldn’t pay my rent because I bought this costume, it was over £2000.'

Risk worth taking? Kitty told a friend 'I can¿t let this ruin my chance to be a star'

'I was going to sprinkle rose petals around the stage, a video backdrop that I created, start off playing piano, put my arm out here and a line would shoot out of my fingers,' she added.

But all of this effort may yet take its toll on the hopeful.

According to The Daily Mirror, Kitty told a friend: 'I know X Factor isn’t the best thing to do after what I have been through. Stress and strain could kill me, if it affects my immune system.'

Parental concern: Kitty's mother worries that being 'badly portrayed' on the show is adding to the strain on her daughter

An X Factor insider has confirmed to the Mirror that Kitty has passed all necessary health tests for the show.

'No one gets through to the later stages of the competition without being subject to stringent medical checks,' divulged the senior source.

Kitty collapsed on the stage in tears last night when she heard that she'd made the final 32.

Ready to work: The Overs, Jonjo, Samantha, Jonny, Goldie Cheung, Kitty, Carolynne, Terry and Joe all made it through, though Goldie has since pulled out of the competition

Her mother Mary Edwards claimed that her daughter had suffered due to her being 'badly portrayed' on the programme.

'The whole experience has been extremely tough on her and if it gets really bad, I’ll have no hesitation in telling her to pull out,' she admitted.

Kitty’s mentor Louis Walsh said: 'She’s very emotional and very ambitious. She will do anything to be famous. She will do anything I want her to do, and she will have a big, big following.'

Gary Barlow said after Kitty's performance: 'She sounds great, I can¿t stop looking at her, and she is fascinating'

As the judges discussed her performance afterwards in private, Tulisa said: 'I tell you what 10 out of 10 for effort.'

'She sounds great, I can’t stop looking at her, and she is fascinating,' commented Gary.

Tulisa axes band for having the seX Factor! Six contestants dropped after being caught in the act

    By JESSICA SATHERLEY

Tough judge: Tulisa Contostavlos has axed a group for breaking her sex ban

Tulisa Contostavlos has proved she’s one tough judge, after axing a group for breaking a sex ban during the judge’s house stage.

The 23-year-old X Factor judge took eight groups to the Greek Island of Mykonos, but enforced a strict policy of no drinking or romping.

But after just two days, Tulisa was informed that six of the singers had been caught locked in passion.

Producers found out that two of the girls from one band had slept with two of the boys from another band, while two others from a mixed group also took part in a sex act, according to The Sun.

Emotional: Tulisa is pictured on tonight's X Factor, in which she becomes teary-eyed over one of the acts

Their mentor was apparently furious over the discovery and said: ‘If they’re just mucking about, just for fun to have a s*** when they should be rehearsing then I’m not into that at all.’

Tulisa continued: ‘My villa was purposely higher up so I could see their villa at night-time.

'I could see who was awake and who wasn’t and I was also listening to see who was rehearsing and who was not’, the tabloid reported.

You're going home: Tulisa, pictured on tonight's episode, axed six people during the judge's house stage for romping

The judge had made her rules clear from the beginning, as soon as the bans landed on the Greek Island, but didn't seem to be taken seriously.

The scandal has become a first for the ITV show, as no other series has seen contestants sleeping together during the judge’s house stage.

The singers are said to have sneaked out of their villa during the night and when Tulisa found out she was fuming.

Idyllic setting: Tulisa took her bands to Mykonos in the Greek Islands for the judge's house stage of the competition

She told the Daily Star: ‘If people aren’t putting in the time and they think it’s a joke, and that they can go out partying 24/7, then they don’t want it as much as some other people.’

The N-Dubz star is desperate for one of her groups to win this season, hence her strict rules during rehearsals.

Contostavlos is being given advice by singer Jessie J, 23, during the auditions in Greece.

And yesterday she decided on the groups who would be making it though to the next stage of the competition.

And Tulisa has said that fellow judge Kelly Rowland is also being strict on her contestants, meaning singers will have to up their game this season.

‘People work their whole lives for your talent, that was amazing!’ 16-year-old Amelia wows X Factor judges as they agree 'a star is born'

    By SARAH FITZMAURICE

A star is born: 16-year-old Amelia Lily wows the judges with her incredible singing ability

And Tulisa was equally complementary of her talent and was like the other judges amazed at her age, given her strong vocal ability.

The N-Dubz singer said: ‘People work their whole lives and take forever to get to that level that you are at now, you’ve come on that stage so much older than you years.

She added: ‘That was amazing you blew up the stage, your energy was off the chain, well done.’

Amazing talent: The teenager took to the stage to sing Beverly Knight's A Piece Of My Heart during the Liverpool leg of the auditions

Before the teenager took to the stage she said her father offered her the support and encouragement to audition for the show.

She said: ‘I’m overwhelmed but you have to go out there and give it rock all as my dad would say.’

Amazed: Tulisa couldn't believe that Amelia was just sixteen years old and said: 'People work their whole lives and take forever to get to that level you're at now,' adding: 'That was amazing'

Proud parents: Backstage her mother and father looked delighted as she performed and were even happier when she got four yeses from the judges

As she sang her first few notes Gary was seen nodding at the others and Tulisa and Kelly sported huge grins across their faces.

Amelia Lily appeared overwhelmed by the attention and thanked the positive reaction and had to fight back the tears as the judges gushed about her performance.

Blown away: Gary was overwhelmed by her performance and said: 'Oh my Goodness, 16-years-old that was incredible. That absolutely lifted the top off this arena, well done. Amazing vocals. Amelia I am blown away'

Kelly told her: 'I'm still having a hard time understanding that you're 16-years-old with such a natural gift, your energy was great, you've got this big beautiful voice with so much soul beyond your years, you were born to do this.'

She later added: 'You have only just scratched the surface, that's what's got me so amazed.'

And Gary told the teen: 'This is the reason I wanted to sit on this chair, to discover talent like this.'

Amazing: After being so well-received Amelia told Dermot: 'That is what I want to do for the rest of my life'

After receiving four Yeses from the judges and exited the stage Louis remarked that the girls category was the one to watch. He said: 'The girls, that catergory, wow, wow, wow.'

As she greeted her parents backstage Amelia told Dermot that the experience was 'amazing'.

She added: 'This is what I want for the rest of my life, it's just unbelievable.

What's in the box? Birthday girl Tulisa was gifted with a huge present from the other judges as they started their day in Liverpool

'I got a man': Tulisa seemed happy with her half naked butler and she and Kelly wasted no time in getting hands on with him

Earlier in the show Tulisa was presented with a very special gift to celebrate her birthday from the rest of the judges, as they started their day at Liverpool.

The N-Dubz singer was presented with a huge present which she was nervous about opening.

She took off the lid to reveal her very own naked butler, who was on hand to tend to her every need throughout the day.

Kelly told her: 'You can touch it, you can play with if if you like, feel and touch.'

Through to bootcamp: Hairdresser Marcus Collins wowed the judges and 19-year-old Emma Wright also got yeses from the judges going through to the next stage of the competition

As the judges took the stage they were greeted with the first act of the day, hairdresser Marcus Collins.

And the 23-year-old didn't disappoint as he wowed the judges with his unique singing ability and sparkling personality.

Following his performance Tulisa told him: 'I didn't even feel like you were auditioning, I felt like I had come to see you perform, that's how it felt, you were so comfortable up there, you literally owned the stage, loved it. That was outstanding.'

Falling flat: Tara Burgin failed to impress the judges with her tone-deaf rendition of Beyonce's Crazy In Love

Not impressed: Kelly didn't appreciate the audition saying she preferred her sisters version while Gary clearly didn't know where to look

19-year-old Emma Wright also bagged herself a spot at boot camp after singing Christina Aguilera's Aint No Other Man which left Tulisa calling her a little pop star.

But it was not good news for Tara Burgin who left the judges unimpressed with her rendition of Beyonce's hit Crazy in Love.

Kelly hide behind a piece of paper while Gary clearly did not know where to look while Tara was shaking her bottom.

Shaky start: Jonjo Kerr, had a shaky start and was given a second chance to impress the judges

Not sure: Tulisa and Louis were not sure after Jonjo failed to sing in time to his song on his first attempt

The former Destiny's Child singer told Tara that she prefered her sister's version of the song and the 29-year-old left disappointed.

After a shaky star and a second chance Jonjo Kerr, 27, from Birmingham managed to get through to the next round with his performance of Stereophonics song Handbags and Gladrags.

Through: Jonjo, who revealed his pregnant wife was 14 days to her due date and managed to convince the judges to put him through to bootcamp

Kelly was moved to tears and said: 'I was so happy to see you come out of yourself for just that second and that moment you just seemed so happy, so I was happy for you.'

And the other judges agreed with Miss Rowland and the soilder was sent through to boot camp
